A study — Indian Beer Market-2013-17 — released by Niir Project Consultancy Services, says it would reach a size of 452 million cases by 2017 with a 12% growth. Favourable demographics, rising disposable incomes, urbanization and rising acceptability of drinking have brought the winds of change for the industry, coupled with the mushrooming of beer cafes and microbreweries, the study adds.
