Productionof Galvanized Iron (GI) Metal Sheets Products (Octagonal, Square, RectanglePoles). Business Plan in Iron and Steel Industry.
Galvanizing,or galvanization, may be a manufacturing process where a coating of zinc isapplied to steel or iron to offer protection and prevent rusting. There areseveral galvanizing processes available, but the foremost commonly offered andused method is named hot-dip galvanizing.
Thegalvanized iron (GI) sheets are produced as plain coils / sheets (GP) andcorrugated sheets (GC). Corrugated sheets also are referred to as corrugatedgalvanized iron (CGI) sheets. These are value added steel products which aretough, sturdy, light weight, bright, corrosion resistant and straightforward tomove. These are usually produced within the thickness range of 0.15 mm to 2.0mm and width range of 800 mm to 1560 mm. the load of zinc coating varies from100 grams square metre (gsm) to 750 grams square metre. The load of zinccoating varies with the thickness of the steel sheet and therefore theapplication of the GI sheet.
